The Kickstarter for Warcaster Neo-Mechanika is shipping and I have the Iron Star Alliance Starter Set for a first look.
This game is the new Sci-Fi miniatures game by Privateer Press set in the far future of the WARMACHINE universe. Combining elements of Warmachine, Monsterpocalypse, and a tiny bit of Warhammer, this game potentially creates an interesting variation on the traditional tabletop miniatures model.
The Iron Star Alliance starter set contains rules, cards, and a handful of pewter miniatures. Plus, the Kickstarter version has a few extra small bonuses that will not appear in the retail version.
